Double Chocolate Protein Buns - Filled but Sugar Free

    Amazing Double Chocolate Protein Buns filled with chocolate, but still sugar free! Healthy chocolate filled buns use protein powder instead of sugar, as well as Greek yogurt for a quick bread rolls recipe with no yeast.

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    2. In a bowl, whisk whole wheat pastry flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder and baking powder.

    3. Add yogurt and mix until combined to form a dough ball; Stop as soon as ball forms.

    4. Lightly flour a work surface, transfer dough to surface and knead until smooth - about 7-10 seconds.

      DO NOT OVER-MIX or the protein powder will make the bread tough.

    5. Slightly grease palms with oil.

      Divide dough into 6 pieces and roll into balls.

    6. Press a depression, place 4-5 chocolate chips in the middle and cover. Roll into ball again.

    7. Place on prepared baking sheet; Bake 14 minutes.
