    Churro Protein Waffles with a Protein Chocolate Sauce - breakfast that feels like a treat, but fuels your day! A healthy, sugar free recipe.

    Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

    Chocolate Sauce:

    1. Preheat waffle iron.

    2. In a bowl, whisk pancake mix, liquid egg substitute (or egg) and milk.

    3. Spray waffle iron with cooking oil spray.

      Scoop out 1-2Tablespoon-fuls batter into waffle iron, leaving gaps.

    4. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

    5. Remove from waffle from iron and repeat with remaining batter, greasing each time.

    Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

    1. In a bowl, combine granulated sweetener and cinnamon.

    2. Brush warm waffles with melted butter, place in cinnamon-sugar mix, toss to coat.

    Chocolate Sauce:

    1. In a bowl, whisk protein powder, cocoa powder, almond butter and water.
