Healthy Chocolate Mousse Cake - High Protein, Sugar Free

    Healthy Chocolate Mousse Cake is high protein, low fat and low sugar too! Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake with a high protein chocolate cake, protein chocolate mousse, white chocolate mousse and cocoa powder.

    Chocolate Mousse:

    White Chocolate Mousse:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 8” cake pan or baking dish with parchment paper.

    2. In a bowl, whisk chocolate protein powder, unflavored protein powder, flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder and baking soda.

    3. In a large bowl, whisk together hot water, applesauce, butter, lemon juice and vanilla.

    4. Add dry mix to wet, and gently fold until just combined.

      DO NOT OVER-MIX or protein powder will make the cake dense.

    5. Pour batter into pan, bake for 18-20 minutes.

      A tester inserted into the center should come out clean but moist.

    6. Let cool for 10 minutes, transfer to cooling rack to cool completely.

    Chocolate Pudding Top:

    1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, chocolate instant pudding, and milk until smooth.

      Add milk a little at a time until pudding consistency is reached.

    2. Spread on cooled cake.

    White Chocolate Pudding Top:

    1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, white chocolate instant pudding, and milk until smooth.

      Add milk a little at a time until pudding consistency is reached.

    2. Spread on chocolate pudding layer.

    3. Place in fridge 1 hour, dust with cocoa powder and cut into 8 slices.
