Honey Peanut Butter Protein Bars - Low Fat, Easy!

    Honey Peanut Butter Protein Bars are the perfect snack for on-the-go. Layered bars with cheerios, peanut butter, peanut butter powder and honey, are high protein, low sugar, lower fat and healthy too!

    Cheerio Base:

    Chocolate Topping:

    1. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper; Leave an overhang to lift out later.

    Base:

    1. In a bowl combine peanut butter powder, vanilla protein powder, unflavored protein powder.

    2. Add in peanut butter, honey and water(little at a time) and mix. Mixture will be like a dough.

    3. Add cheerios and fold to mix.

    4. Transfer to pan and press down.

    Honey PB Layer:

    1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter powder, vanilla protein powder, unflavored protein powder.

    2. Add peanut butter, honey, milk (little at a time).

      Add water if too thick, coconut flour if too thin.

    3. Spread on top of base and use small spatula/back of spoon to smoothen.

    4. Place in freezer 10 minutes to harden.

    Chocolate Topping:

    1. Lift layers out of pan, invert onto chopping board (cheerios on top).

      Slice into 8 bars.

    2. Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave about 15-20 seconds, stirring halfway, until completely melted.

      Drizzle on top of bars.
