Chocolate Protein French Toast

    Make this Chocolate Protein French Toast for a rich and indulgent breakfast or brunch with a boost of protein. Made with whole wheat bread, chocolate protein powder and an egg white, this healthy French toast is a great high protein and low fat alternative.

    2 servings

    1. In a large shallow bowl or container whisk together chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, milk, egg white, vanilla and sweetener.

    2. Place sliced bread in mixture and let soak for about 2-3 minutes. Flip, and soak other side for another 2-3 minutes.

    3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-low and spray with cooking spray.

    4. Place soaked bread on pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, flip, and cook other side for another 2 minutes.

    5. Cook one slice at a time if using a small skillet.

    6. Serve with greek yogurt or your choice of toppings.
