Nutella Protein Donuts

    Superb Nutella Protein Donuts made healthy with protein powder and sugar-free nut butter substitute! These chocolate hazelnut protein donuts are baked and have no oil or butter either.

    Nutella Glaze:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 12-cavity donut pan with cooking spray to grease.

    2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder and sweetener.

    3. Add in applesauce, egg whites, chocolate nut butter and yogurt and mix with a large spoon until just combined.

    4. Mixture will be runny.

    5. Divide mixture evenly among donut pan cavities, filling about ⅔-¾ way up.

    6. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the donut comes out clean.

    7. Let cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool.

    Glaze:

    1. Let donuts cool completely

    2. In a bowl, mix cocoa, protein powder and sweetener.

    3. Add chocolate nut butter and milk (little at a time) and mix until smooth.

    4. Dunk donut in glaze and place on cooling rack to cool!
