Protein Apple Fritters - Healthy, Sugar Free

    Protein Apple Fritters for a healthy, but tasty alternative your bakery favorite. Complete with fresh apples and sugar-free glaze, protein powder apple fritters are low fat too!

    Glaze:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    2. In a bowl, whisk whole wheat pastry flour, vanilla protein powder, unflavored powder, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    3. Add yogurt, milk, cold butter and mix until just combined.

    4. Add in chopped apple and mix.

    5. Slightly wet palms.

      Divide dough into 12 pieces and shape into rough lumps.

    6. Place on prepared baking sheet; Bake 8 minutes.

    Glaze:

    1. Mix the powdered sugar and milk(little at a time) together and brush over the fritters as soon as they come out of the oven.
